If January is anything to go by, 2026 is set to be a defining year for C-Tech Solutions.

The first month of the year has seen our teams operating at full pace across the UK and Europe, delivering a diverse mix of projects in secure government environments, international corporate operations, justice estates and large-scale redevelopment sites. From Wi-Fi deployments and infrastructure audits to hardware upgrades and refurbishment programmes, the breadth of work underway highlights both the scale of demand for reliable connectivity and the trust placed in C-Tech to deliver it.

Our year began with engineers mobilised internationally, supporting a major Wi-Fi refresh for a large operational environment in Amsterdam before continuing into Berlin to progress further phases of an ongoing infrastructure programme. Cross-border delivery like this reflects the consistency of standards our teams bring to every project, regardless of geography.

Back in the UK, January also saw the start of a significant three-month Wi-Fi installation programme at a major MOD site in Edinburgh, with a dedicated team of engineers on site. Projects of this scale require careful coordination, technical precision and an in-depth understanding of complex estates, areas where C-Tech’s experience continues to make a measurable difference.

Across the justice sector, our work has been equally extensive. We commenced additional Wi-Fi installations within MOJ courts in Sheffield, progressing areas that had previously been on hold, while also supporting further works at sites across the country. Alongside this, our teams have continued a national programme of audits within MOJ prisons, assessing existing fibre infrastructure and communications cabinets to ensure facilities are prepared for future upgrades and increasing digital demand.

These audits form the foundation for long-term infrastructure strategy. Understanding the current state of fibre networks and cabinet environments allows organisations to plan effectively, minimise risk and build scalable, resilient systems for the years ahead.

January has also marked the beginning of a phased hardware upgrade programme across multiple MOJ prison sites, refreshing core infrastructure within communications cabinets, including switching equipment. Running over several months and across several locations, this work is designed to improve network performance, reliability and future readiness in some of the UK’s most demanding operational environments.

As the month draws to a close, momentum continues. Our teams are preparing to begin a comprehensive fibre infrastructure audit at an MOD site in the Stafford area, surveying connectivity across a redevelopment zone to inform future works. Looking just ahead, early February will see C-Tech commence an office refurbishment and new workspace design project at the Consulate General of Ireland in Manchester which is another great example of the varied environments in which we operate.

Amidst this busy project schedule, January has also brought growth within the business itself. We were pleased to welcome a new Business Development Manager to the C-Tech team, strengthening our ability to support clients, build new partnerships and continue expanding our presence across sectors and regions.

What stands out most from January is not just the number of projects underway, but their diversity. Secure government sites, justice estates, international operations, redevelopment zones and office environments all have very different technical and operational demands. Supporting such a wide range of environments requires adaptable expertise, experienced engineers and a commitment to the highest standards of delivery, all values that remain at the core of C-Tech Solutions.
