Ministry of Defence (MOD) Defence Business Infrastructure Cabling Installation

C-Tech Solutions teamed up with BT to install cabling infrastructure for the Ministry of Defence. The project’s aim was to facilitate the DBI wi-fi system.

DBI provides dedicated wi-fi for military bases. Designed for the UK Armed Forces, it offers a highspeed connection for 70,000 personnel across over 130 sites. They can also access the MOD Defence Gateway at over five million BT Wi-Fi hotspots.

DBI was created the with the military in mind. This wi-fi solution lets personnel access and share information instantly. Digital solutions also offer an innovative way for personnel to learn new skills, contribute more to their team, and unlock new career opportunities. Staying in touch with friends and family boosts an individual’s mental health and the wider team’s morale.
